So thanks to the recommendation from my tutor I’ve discovered Isotypes – the 1920s answer to infographics. They were designed to communicate a message trans-culturely, and it is clear how much of an influence they’ve had on modern graphic design. The below were created by Gerd Antz – a Vienna based artist considered a founder of the style.
