I came up with this concept years ago when I had first started driving. The idea is that two cars are driving towards each other, both speeding down a narrow country road. A tractor is in the middle of a bend – both cars see the tractor, slam on their brakes and slow down and are able to pass each other safely. If the tractor was not there the two cars would not have slowed down and would therefore have had a head on collision. Just by being in the right place at the right time, the tractor driver has saved both their lives. I want to try and communicate this story in an image, but I think a compilation of images is actually a better solution. I used the toy cars in my nans attic to tell the story, which provided their own visual interest.
