The problem

Journey maps were painful to make and harder to read
User journey diagrams are used throughout the company to visualise client processes, and to illustrate how new features can improve those processes. However when hand-built in Miro or Figma, they took hours to produce, and complex diagrams quickly became difficult to follow.

The solution

Journey Studio is a purpose-built user journey tool that lets anyone produce clear, intuitive diagrams with the right level of detail at every step. Journeys can be drawn manually, or generated by AI from meeting transcripts or photos of existing diagrams.

The outcome

  • Increased cross-company knowledge of client processes via an easily accessible library of process maps
  • Complex process maps and user journey diagrams created by anyone in minute

The tech

What started as a hobby project to experiment with new tech has become a core internal tool used throughout the company. It’s now been made freely available here.
